President Obama urged national unity following the tragic shootings on January 8, 2011 at Tucson, Arizona. Six people were killed. Representative Gabrielle Giffords was seriously wounded in the head. Obama made an excellent speech on January 12, 2011. Here are some of his words. "Rather than pointing fingers or assigning blame, let's use this occasion to expand our moral imaginations, to listen to each other more carefully, to sharpen our instincts for empathy, and remind ourselves of all the ways our hopes and dreams are bound together". In another part of his speech, he said, "I believe that for all our imperfections, we are full of decency and goodness, and that the forces that divide us are not as strong as those that unite us".
I would like to hope that these few words might go a long way in having a civil election year process. I'm sorry to say that this will not be the case. In my opinion, this will be the filthiest campaign ever on record. People will say and do anything to be elected and/or re-elected. I'm sure that Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals will come into play. Build me up at the expense of others, whether justifiable or not. A billion dollar war chest (Obama's hope) goes a long way to denigrate the opposition. Should I say, Chicago politics at its worst!
Since he is already known as the blameshifter-in-chief, Obama will naturally put the onus on his opposition and as much as possible on the previous administration. I believe we can take that to the bank. The liberal media (CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC) will back him to the hilt. Newspapers like the LA Times, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, etc. can't seem to see the forest from the trees because of their slobbering love affair with him. One word said about him in a derogatory manner will get the racial bias treatment from both the media and the press. Mother Teresa (if she was a US citizen) could run against him, but she would be made out to be a combination of Lucifer and Hitler. This is the sad state of the double standard in American politics.
Who represents his voting base? It isn't very hard to figure out. He has the very liberal National Education Association (NEA) which is the largest professional organization and largest labor union in the United States, representing public school teachers, and other support personnel, faculty and staffers at colleges and universities, retired educators and college students preparing to become teachers. I do not believe that the latter group (college students) is properly exposed to both political sides. Call it brainwashing if you will!
In the state of California, liberals are foisting the LGBT philosophy down our children's throats. This even includes our grammar school children. Obama selected a month for LGBT "pride". What's there to be proud about? He repealed DADT (Don't Ask, don't tell) in the military. In February 2011, he would not enforce DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). I would have to think that he will have this 'wonderful' group voting overwhelming for him.
Most unions will cast their votes for him.
We all know how the majority of those bastions of educational prowess, Hollyweird, will vote. As a senior citizen, I would take most of yesterday's stars over most of this bunch any day. They were patriots!
Let's throw environmentalists into the equation. They just 'love' fossil fuel projects. The U.S. State Department’s decision to delay its review of TransCanada Corp.’s $7-billion Keystone XL pipeline until after next year’s presidential election may doom the project and accelerate Canada’s efforts to ship crude to Asia, Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said. The deferral on Keystone XL is a blow to the government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who called U.S. approval of the pipeline a “no brainer". Canadian officials underestimated the strength of resistance to the project by Nebraska farmers and environmentalists, political and foreign-policy experts said. Let's make sure we keep those environmentalists in our camp. The heck with the economy and more jobs!
Finally, we turn to Hispanics and Afro-Americans. Since Obama declined to protect our southern border, how do you think Hispanics will vote? I'll call it like it is! Obama did not want to lose this large base, so he did nothing. He played politics. The hell with US citizens and their safety. As for Afro-Americans, we all know he is part black. I'm hoping the sharper knives in the drawer will come to their senses and see him as he is. He could be green, purple or blue in skin color. That does not make him fit for the job! He is an extremely liberal politician with socialistic tendencies who is in over his head surrounded by morons with little to no business experience. He comes on as the nation's savior but, in reality, has probably screwed our country for many years to come.
Lest we forget, should we add Republicans are for tax cuts for the rich, are anti-Hispanic and anti-black, want to withhold social security payments to 'granny', want dirty air, are for off-shore drilling thereby polluting the oceans, etc. I suppose that Democrats walk on water.

Obama - Blameshifter-in-Chief
Obama is not one who wants to take the blame when things go wrong nor does he like to be criticized. He swaggers around like God's gift to the world who thinks he is smarter than just about everybody. One thing that he does extremely well is pass the buck. "Joe Blow" was the guilty party; not me.
It should come as no surprise that the number one culprit for all our woes is former president, George Bush. While Obama might have inherited somewhat of a mess, who deserves the credit for compounding the problem? How can you help the economy and create jobs when neither he nor Biden have any business experience? They have surrounded themselves with a cabinet (plus others) with the least amount of business savvy (8%) of the last 19 presidents. Can we say Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest? Sounds like a good name for a movie. We have a wealth of single-digit IQers in Hollyweird who can play the parts.
Then, we have a natural disaster to add to the problems - the Toyko earthquake.
Let's not forget - Arab Spring, otherwise known as the Arab Awakening. It is a revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protests occurring in the Arab world that began on Saturday, December 18, 2010. To date, there have been revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt; a civil war in Libya resulting in the fall of its government; civil uprisings in Bahrain, Syria , and Yemen, the latter resulting in the resignation of the Yemeni prime minister; major protests in Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman and Morocco; and minor protests in Lebanon, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Western Sahara. Not my fault, Bro!
Look at how much the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan cost. Obama inherited those problems even though he prolonged them. With his vast amount of military experience (0 seconds), Obama inherently knows how long to stay in these countries and when to get out. Remarkable! He is truly - the 'anointed' one. I wonder when Iraq will turn into another Cambodia with its Killing Fields of 1975 to 1979?
We also have political 'gridlock' to add to his problems. It's those rascally Republicans that caused the mess! Obama fails to remember that Democrats controlled everything in 2009 and 2010. Convenient memory.

They are not like the OWS (Occupy Wall Street) crowd, ignorant to say the least, who cost cities millions in security, trash pickup, etc. Watching various news programs of their groups, one could get the clue that they didn't have the foggiest idea why they were there! In 1742, Thomas Grey in one of his poems wrote: "Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise". Truer words were never spoken to describe OWS.

Obama Agenda - Overwhelm the System!
Wayne Allyn Root (born July 20, 1961) is an American politician, entrepreneur, television and radio personality, author and political commentator. He was the 2008 Libertarian Party vice-presidential nominee. In June 2009 Richard Winger wrote he was the front runner for the 2012 Libertarian Presidential nomination.
Mr. Root wrote an opinion article on June 6, 2010 which is well worth documenting (in my opinion).
"Rahm Emanuel cynically said, 'You never want a crisis to go to waste'. It is now becoming clear that the crisis he was referring to is Barack Obama's presidency. Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.
Barack Obama was my college classmate (Columbia University, Class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.
-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?
-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around'.
-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.
-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.
-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.
-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.
With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.
Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan".

The Obama Healthcare Plan
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) is a United States federal statute signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010. The law (along with the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010) is the principal health care reform legislation of the 111th United States Congress. PPACA reforms certain aspects of the private health insurance industry and public health insurance programs, increases insurance coverage of pre-existing conditions, expands access to insurance to over 30 million Americans and increases projected national medical spending despite lowering projected Medicare spending under previous law.
PPACA passed the Senate on December 24, 2009, by a vote of 60–39 with all Democrats and two Independents voting for, and all Republicans voting against. It passed the House of Representatives on March 21, 2010, by a vote of 219–212, with 34 Democrats and all 178 Republicans voting against the bill.
A majority of the states, and numerous organizations and individual persons, have filed actions in federal court challenging the constitutionality of PPACA. As of October 2011, the constitutionality of PPACA has been upheld by three out of four federal appellate courts, with the fourth declaring the law's individual mandate alone as unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has agreed to review the suits and has scheduled over five hours for oral arguments on the matter in March 2012.
During his presidential campaign, Obama repeatedly pledged (eight times to be exact) to conduct every aspect of the debate over healthcare reform in the open, specifically over C-SPAN. Another campaign lie by Obama! Openness is only threatening to those interested in hiding something that benefits a special interest.
How did they get it passed? The Democrats and Obama resorted to a number of backdoor deals to secure the needed votes. Here are some of them in the Senate:
Senator Ben Nelson got an unprecedented deal to force federal taxpayers to pick up 100% of the cost of Nebraska's Medicaid expansion - forever. This is affectionately known as the Cornhusker kickback.
Senator Mary Landrieu was paid by Reid and Obama $300 million of our taxpayer dollars for her pet projects to secure her vote. This is the Louisiana Purchase.
Vermont Senators Pat Leahy and Bernie Sanders got an extra $250 million in Medicaid funding for their votes.
In Florida, Senator Bill Nelson got three counties carved out of Medicare Advantage cuts that will happen everywhere else in the country.
Senator Chris Dodd received a $100 million earmark for a hospital at the University of Connecticut.
Here's how he got it through the House. Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts negotiated with key pro-life Democrats to secure their vote for the pro-abortion healthcare plan. A proposed executive order (worthless as the paper its written on) by Obama would allegedly bar abortion funding in the $940 million plan. This persuaded Representative Bart Stupak (Dem.-Michigan) to vote yes and bring at least seven colleagues with him.
But remember, it was all on C-SPAN as promised by the transparent Obama!
Did you know that the democrats inserted a provision in the healthcare bill which appropriates $105 billion towards its funding - a complete and fraudulent circumvention of the legislative process?
Waivers galore! If Obamacare is such a great system why are so many waivers being sought and granted? The list of waivers has been getting longer and longer. Of the 204 new Obamacare waivers President Barack Obama’s administration approved in April 2011, 38 are for fancy eateries, hip nightclubs and decadent hotels in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s Northern California district. That’s in addition to the 27 new waivers for health care or drug companies and the 31 new union waivers Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services approved. The companies that won the waiver's in Pelosi's district didn’t have much in common with companies throughout the rest of the country that have received Obamacare waivers. More political favoritism?

Our Amazing Government!
It is now official, President Obama and all 535 members of the Legislature are corrupt morons. Here are some of their achievements:
The US Post Office was established in 1775. You had 236 years to fix it. It is broke!
Social Security was established in 1935. You had 76 years to get it right. It is broke!
Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You had 73 to get it right. It is broke! Thanks, Rep. Barnie Frank.
The war on poverty started in 1964. That means that you had 47 years to fix it. One trillion dollars of our money is confiscated each year and 'transferred' to the poor and they still want more.
Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 46 to get it right. They are broke!

The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year. In Defense of Israel from a Christian
I have utmost respect for the Israeli nation. About two years ago, Benjamin Netanyahu gave an interview and was asked about Israel's occupation of Arab lands. He gave a very accurate and honest answer, "It's our land". Since we rarely get fair and accurate reporting from the media and facts tend to get lost in the jumble of daily events, the following is a short but important review of historical facts compiled by a Christian university professor:
1. Nationhood and Jerusalem: Israel became a nation in 1312 BC, two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BC, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence for the past 3300 years.
4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 lasted no more than 22 years.
5. For over 3300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital and has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.
6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. It is not mentioned once in the Koran.
7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed, the self-proclaimed prophet, never came to Jerusalem.
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.

AARP - Not a Friend to Seniors!
Seniors need to be aware of the high cost of doing business with AARP (formerly the American Association of Retired Persons). I'm citing an AARP member of 14 years who had auto insurance through them (Hartford) for about seven years. He said that every year the cost went up, even though he didn't have any claims. And, when he called them they just shrugged it off as "costs are going up by other companies as well". When he checked out other (major) insurance companies, he found that he had been paying 30%-40% more for the same coverage.
He also checked AARP for life insurance and found they were much higher than some other reputable companies. Again, AARP is taking advantage of seniors who believe they are getting a good deal because it is AARP. So, the lesson here is do your homework and check other reputable companies. You will save a lot of money. AARP is not what it used to be many years ago - a friend of seniors.

On January 6, 2009, the Daily Mail (UK) wrote this about Obama, "A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth". They also said the following: "A victory for Hollywood, the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros, Moore, and Sarandon". And, finally, the following: "A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the US mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her,...".
Prior to his election, Obama said he would raise taxes on only 5% (the rich) of the people. When Obama's senior economic advisor, Lawrence Summers, met with "Meet the Press" host David Gregory on the NBC program (1/25/2009), he said that Obama was committed to allowing the Bush tax cuts to die (after 2010). This meant that taxes would rise dramatically for most taxpayers. While it didn't happen thus far, the intent was there. Can I say - Obama lied?
Also before his election, Obama stated, "And when I'm president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely" (Newsmax, 2/23/2009). Do you think that he read the stimulus bill line by line? He campaigned vigorously for earmark reform. On March 11, 2009, he passed the Omnibus Bill laced with 9000 earmarks. These are more examples of Obama lies.
In a Ventura County Star article (4/17/2009), Obama "pledges help to slow US arms flow across border". Can we say - Operation Fast and Furious two years later?
Look at all of the radical types that he has associated himself with, has tried to appoint or has appointed. They are documented in a few of my other Posts. This is the true Obama! He is the most radical man to ever 'grace' the White House.
On his eight-day trip to Europe and Turkey during April 2009, he apologized for America's past sins and US arrogance; bowed to a Muslim king; outsourced our capitalistic system to a bunch of socialist bankers in Brussels; certainly never mentioned Turkey's murdering of 1.5 million Armenians from 1915-1918 and refused to visit Normandy to pay tribute to our fallen WWII soldiers for fear of offending the Germans. He succeeded in surpassing the inept Carter in embarrassing our great country. I never thought we would have to experience another presidency like Carter's. I was wrong.
At the April 2009 G-20 summit (also see previous parapraph), Obama arrived with a staff of 500, including 200 Secret Service agents, a team of six doctors, the White House chef and kitchen staff with the president's own food and water. He also had 35 vehicles and four speech writers. Last, but not least, he had 12 teleprompters. The press, national media and democrats made Bush seem stupid. How many boob tubes did Bush need?
I can't recall exactly when Obama gave his first press conference. It had to have been early 2009. I watched it in its entirety. I think there were about 10 questions from the press, and, if I recall (not 100% certain), he seemed to know in what order they were going to be asked. I tuned in to his next conference. I was now certain that all this was prescripted and not spontaneous. I doubt if he is adept enough to respond to a question that he is not prepared to answer. This speaks to his lack of mental acuity!
On May 25, 2009, Obama wanted Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to take down the Israeli flag over the Western Wall (Kotel) and fly the UN flag. The PM declared that the Israeli flag will continue to fly over the Kotel. "Our holy places, the Temple Mount -- will remain under Israeli sovereignty forever".
Obama named June as LGBT Pride Month (Newsmax article, 6/2/2009) in a presidential proclamation.
Dr. Charles Krauthammer, a Board certified psychiatrist, spoke to the Center for the American Experiment early during July 2009. Here is his analysis of Obama. Obama has a way to make you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES! His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION and NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the federal government. He has a huge ego, and Dr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.
Obama wanted to make a mockery of 9/11/01 by proposing to make it a 'National Service Day'. I suppose he doesn't share our reverence for 9/11. I think his proposal is a disgrace.
In early October 2009, Obama 'won' the Nobel Peace Prize which certainly speaks of the award's politicization. President 'inept' Carter also won the award.
On November 5, 2009, an army psychiatrist (Major Malik Nadal Hasan) murdered 13 people at Fort Hood. Hasan was known to have ties with Anwar al-Awlaki who was once the imam at a Virginia mosque frequented by Hasan and his family. Obama saw this mass murder as a 'tragedy' and a violent crime. Sorry about that Mr. President. The radical imam died two years later in Yemen. Hasan was yelling 'Allah Akbar (God is Great)' as he gunned down his unarmed victims. Simply stated, Hasan is an Islamic terrorist who murdered in the name of jihad.
Can we discuss his UNHOLY and ANTI-AMERICAN trifecta (December 2009). He was the first president in 110 years who did not attend the annual Army-Navy football game. He was the first president in history who did not attend any Christmas religious observance. He was the first president to remain on vacation after a terrorist attack.
The US and Russia agreed to a deal to cut nuclear arsenals during March 2010. Great timing when you consider what is going on in North Korea and Iran, plus the unrest in the Middle East. The treaty was signed on March 26, 2010 with a 30% cut in deployed nuclear arsenals.
The Obama administration has done just about nothing to stem the flow of illegal immigration across our southern border states. They found the time to blast Arizona for its law to make illegal immigration a state crime and have police question people about their immigration status if officers suspect they are in the US illegally. An Arizona rancher was murdered by the Mexican drug cartel on his own ranch in April 2010. The stories of illegal aliens (not undocumented immigrants) crossing the border into the US are well recorded. I'll tell it like it is! Obama will do nothing so he can control this base (Hispanics) and possibly add to it by granting citizenship to some of the illegals.
On Obama’s command, Attorney General Eric Holder sued the State of Arizona for passing a law that he criticized without reading, and which merely upholds federal law. (He gave sanctuary cities a pass). He has sued Sheriff Joe Arpaio for “racial profiling” when arresting illegal immigrants near the Mexican border.
Apparently Obama was not content to make a federal case out of his immigration feud with Arizona; he made it an international one as well. The president’s first-ever report on U.S. human rights to the UN Human Rights Council contained a rich vein of offensive material. So far, one aspect has not been reported: our petty president used the situation to bash Arizona’s immigration law — and possibly transfer jurisdiction over the law from Arizona to the UN. Specifically, the Obama administration wrote in the report (August 2010):
US General Stanley McChrystal had to wait over four months to get the 'surge' troops that were requested (during August 2010) for Afghanistan. Obama finally agreed to 30,000 which was less than requested. NATO pledged the remaining to reach surge goals. Obama, at the time, placed a withdrawal date of July 2011 for these troops. I think it is remarkable that this "commander-in-chief" can place an arbitrary date on troop withdrawal with absolutely no military background. The same can be said for Biden. What a joke!
Once again Obama proved he is no friend of Israel when he called for the first time to begin negotiations with Palestine based on Israel's pre-1967 borders (May 20-21, 2011). In response to Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a rare rebuke to the 'anointed' one. I think 'Bibi' told Obama that he could shove his proposal. If you take a close look at the map, you can see how vulnerable "Obama's Plan" would make Israel. What was Obama's intent?
One of his most outrageous whoppers (misstatements/lies) was that his stimulus program has been an outstanding success. After all, he claimed (November/December 2011 time period), it helped create 3 million new jobs. While it may be technically true that 3 million new jobs have been created in this country since Obama took office, what he didn’t mention is that more than five million jobs have been lost in the same time period. So, the net effect is that there are 2 million more people unemployed than there were at the beginning of his administration.
For a moment, though, let’s accept Obama’s numbers and his claim, which is patently absurd, that his administration deserves the credit for every single new job in this country. Obama’s stimulus program has cost U.S. taxpayers about $800 billion. That means each new job cost $266,667 to create. With the average new job paying about one-fifth that amount, one has to wonder: Where did the other $220,000 per job go? Why, to line the pockets and pad the budgets of the folks dispersing the money, of course. Despite all of the efforts by Washington to subsidize solar power and other “green” energy, the only growth industry in the United States this decade has been government. Oh, and government-supported unions, of course.
Glenn Kessler, The Washington Post’s official fact-checker, cited another gross distortion in the President’s speech: Obama’s crusade for what he calls “fairness.” He quotes the President as declaring, “Some billionaires have a tax rate as low as 1 percent — 1 percent. That is the height of unfairness.”
When pressed for evidence that there is even one billionaire in this country who paid just 1 percent in taxes, the White House couldn’t find any. The only evidence the White House offered was a clip from some TV program. An unsubstantiated remark by some talking head on some TV show became the basis for national policy and another blatantly political and incredibly dishonest speech by our President. Isn’t that wonderful?
In keeping with his Marxist philosophies, Obama intentionally omitted any mention of God in his Thanksgiving Day address to the nation. Whether you realize it or not, this was not an accidental oversight.
And now this from the ego driven Obama (December 2011). In an interview with CBS’s Steve Kroft on the ’60 Minutes’ television program last week, President Barack Obama claimed to be the fourth best President of the United States all-time in terms of a president's accomplishments. Though the comment was cut from the televised interview on CBS, it has been discovered that the comment was an outtake from the end of the recorded interview. A transcript of the entire interview reveals Obama having said that he would hold his accomplishments so far as President of the United States against the accomplishments of any former presidents, except for the accomplishments of Lyndon B. Johnson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The exact quote from the interview was:

On January 6, 2009, the Daily Mail (UK) wrote this about Obama, "A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth". They also said the following: "A victory for Hollywood, the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros, Moore, and Sarandon". And, finally, the following: "A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the US mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her,...".
Prior to his election, Obama said he would raise taxes on only 5% (the rich) of the people. When Obama's senior economic advisor, Lawrence Summers, met with "Meet the Press" host David Gregory on the NBC program (1/25/2009), he said that Obama was committed to allowing the Bush tax cuts to die (after 2010). This meant that taxes would rise dramatically for most taxpayers. While it didn't happen thus far, the intent was there. Can I say - Obama lied?
Also before his election, Obama stated, "And when I'm president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely" (Newsmax, 2/23/2009). Do you think that he read the stimulus bill line by line? He campaigned vigorously for earmark reform. On March 11, 2009, he passed the Omnibus Bill laced with 9000 earmarks. These are more examples of Obama lies.
In a Ventura County Star article (4/17/2009), Obama "pledges help to slow US arms flow across border". Can we say - Operation Fast and Furious two years later?
Look at all of the radical types that he has associated himself with, has tried to appoint or has appointed. They are documented in a few of my other Posts. This is the true Obama! He is the most radical man to ever 'grace' the White House.
On his eight-day trip to Europe and Turkey during April 2009, he apologized for America's past sins and US arrogance; bowed to a Muslim king; outsourced our capitalistic system to a bunch of socialist bankers in Brussels; certainly never mentioned Turkey's murdering of 1.5 million Armenians from 1915-1918 and refused to visit Normandy to pay tribute to our fallen WWII soldiers for fear of offending the Germans. He succeeded in surpassing the inept Carter in embarrassing our great country. I never thought we would have to experience another presidency like Carter's. I was wrong.
At the April 2009 G-20 summit (also see previous parapraph), Obama arrived with a staff of 500, including 200 Secret Service agents, a team of six doctors, the White House chef and kitchen staff with the president's own food and water. He also had 35 vehicles and four speech writers. Last, but not least, he had 12 teleprompters. The press, national media and democrats made Bush seem stupid. How many boob tubes did Bush need?
I can't recall exactly when Obama gave his first press conference. It had to have been early 2009. I watched it in its entirety. I think there were about 10 questions from the press, and, if I recall (not 100% certain), he seemed to know in what order they were going to be asked. I tuned in to his next conference. I was now certain that all this was prescripted and not spontaneous. I doubt if he is adept enough to respond to a question that he is not prepared to answer. This speaks to his lack of mental acuity!
On May 25, 2009, Obama wanted Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to take down the Israeli flag over the Western Wall (Kotel) and fly the UN flag. The PM declared that the Israeli flag will continue to fly over the Kotel. "Our holy places, the Temple Mount -- will remain under Israeli sovereignty forever".
Obama named June as LGBT Pride Month (Newsmax article, 6/2/2009) in a presidential proclamation.
Dr. Charles Krauthammer, a Board certified psychiatrist, spoke to the Center for the American Experiment early during July 2009. Here is his analysis of Obama. Obama has a way to make you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES! His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION and NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the federal government. He has a huge ego, and Dr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.
Obama wanted to make a mockery of 9/11/01 by proposing to make it a 'National Service Day'. I suppose he doesn't share our reverence for 9/11. I think his proposal is a disgrace.
In early October 2009, Obama 'won' the Nobel Peace Prize which certainly speaks of the award's politicization. President 'inept' Carter also won the award.
On November 5, 2009, an army psychiatrist (Major Malik Nadal Hasan) murdered 13 people at Fort Hood. Hasan was known to have ties with Anwar al-Awlaki who was once the imam at a Virginia mosque frequented by Hasan and his family. Obama saw this mass murder as a 'tragedy' and a violent crime. Sorry about that Mr. President. The radical imam died two years later in Yemen. Hasan was yelling 'Allah Akbar (God is Great)' as he gunned down his unarmed victims. Simply stated, Hasan is an Islamic terrorist who murdered in the name of jihad.
Can we discuss his UNHOLY and ANTI-AMERICAN trifecta (December 2009). He was the first president in 110 years who did not attend the annual Army-Navy football game. He was the first president in history who did not attend any Christmas religious observance. He was the first president to remain on vacation after a terrorist attack.
The US and Russia agreed to a deal to cut nuclear arsenals during March 2010. Great timing when you consider what is going on in North Korea and Iran, plus the unrest in the Middle East. The treaty was signed on March 26, 2010 with a 30% cut in deployed nuclear arsenals.
The Obama administration has done just about nothing to stem the flow of illegal immigration across our southern border states. They found the time to blast Arizona for its law to make illegal immigration a state crime and have police question people about their immigration status if officers suspect they are in the US illegally. An Arizona rancher was murdered by the Mexican drug cartel on his own ranch in April 2010. The stories of illegal aliens (not undocumented immigrants) crossing the border into the US are well recorded. I'll tell it like it is! Obama will do nothing so he can control this base (Hispanics) and possibly add to it by granting citizenship to some of the illegals.
On Obama’s command, Attorney General Eric Holder sued the State of Arizona for passing a law that he criticized without reading, and which merely upholds federal law. (He gave sanctuary cities a pass). He has sued Sheriff Joe Arpaio for “racial profiling” when arresting illegal immigrants near the Mexican border.
Apparently Obama was not content to make a federal case out of his immigration feud with Arizona; he made it an international one as well. The president’s first-ever report on U.S. human rights to the UN Human Rights Council contained a rich vein of offensive material. So far, one aspect has not been reported: our petty president used the situation to bash Arizona’s immigration law — and possibly transfer jurisdiction over the law from Arizona to the UN. Specifically, the Obama administration wrote in the report (August 2010):
"A recent Arizona law, S.B. 1070, has generated significant attention and debate at home and around the world. The issue is being addressed in a court action that argues that the federal government has the authority to set and enforce immigration law. That action is ongoing; parts of the law are currently enjoined".Remember when President Bush was soundly criticized when hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast on August 28, 2005? What about the BP oil spill of 2010? It was the largest accidental marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry. The spill stemmed from a sea-floor oil gusher that resulted from the April 20, 2010 explosion of Deepwater Horizon which drilled on the BP-operated Macondo Prospect. The explosion killed 11 men working on the platform and injured 17 others. On July 15, 2010, the leak was stopped by capping the gushing wellhead, after it had released about 4.9 million barrels (780,000 m3) of crude oil. The 'annointed' one finally took the heat for the disaster but only about five weeks after the fact. Can you say - slow!
US General Stanley McChrystal had to wait over four months to get the 'surge' troops that were requested (during August 2010) for Afghanistan. Obama finally agreed to 30,000 which was less than requested. NATO pledged the remaining to reach surge goals. Obama, at the time, placed a withdrawal date of July 2011 for these troops. I think it is remarkable that this "commander-in-chief" can place an arbitrary date on troop withdrawal with absolutely no military background. The same can be said for Biden. What a joke!

This was said by Obama on the campaign trail in Beaverton, Oregon (May 9, 2008). "It is just wonderful to be back in Oregon. And over the last 15 months we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states; I think one left to go". His campaign said it was obviously a mistake. Nobody believed that he really thought there were 57 states. Really?
Our illustrious Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, remarked to the press in early February 2009 that prompt action was necessary on the stimulus bill because the US was losing 500 million jobs a month. That's a lot when you consider that the country's population is about 300 million people.
Did you know that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) labeled any member of the pro-life community, The Most Dangerous Domestic Terrorist? They did so in April 2009. The DHS warning entitled: "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment" is beyond belief. If anything, pro-choice should be labeled a crime against humanity since it takes the life of an unborn child. Obama can't see this. He was asked by Pastor Warren at the Saddleback Church debate when human life began. He said it was above his pay grade.
On April 22, 2009, the secretary of the DHS (Janet Napolitano) said on CNN that illegal immigration was really not a crime. She said, "And yes, when we find illegal workers, yes, appropriate action, some of which is criminal, most of that is civil, because crossing the border is not a crime per se. It is civil. But anyway, going after those as well". For her information, crossing the border without authorization is a crime and under title 18 that person could be fined or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both.
Let's not forget the photo-op of Air Force One flying near the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan's financial district on April 27, 2009 at an altitude of 1000 feet. the photo-op cost $35,000 in fuel alone for the plane and two jet fighter escorts. The Air Force estimated the photo shoot cost taxpayers $328,835. But, what the heck! It's not Obama's money.
At a National Prayer Breakfast, in early February 2010, Obama slipped up in his speech when speaking of a Navy corpsman named Christian Brossard. However, instead of pronouncing the word corpsman like kawr-muhn, he pronounced it as corpse-man. He did this on three different occasions during his speech. This is 'our' commander-in-chief!
Somewhere during the Obama Healthcare Plan process, Nancy Pelosi remarked that first we will pass it, and then we will find out what's in it. Another remarkable statement from a democratic airhead!

"There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy because it threatens U.S. interests". I personally would not want to be in a foxhole with them. Way to go, Joe!
The next 'brilliant' comment comes from Valerie Jarrett, Obama's senior advisor. She said that it stimulates the economy because people who receive unemployment checks are going out and spending them. "It not only is good for the family, but it’s good for the economy", Jarrett argued during a speaking engagement at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina (February 2012).

Obama - Other "Associates" & Appointees (Updated 12/14/2011)
President Obama's czars are covered under another Post. Shall we now review some other associates and appointees/would be appointees!
1. Tom Daschle was named to be Obama's Health and Human Services secretary. For three years prior to his nomination, he failed to pay more than $128,000 in taxes. This disclosure involved unreported income and the use of a car and driver provided to him. He was forced to withdraw.
2. Bill Richardson was Obama's pick for Commerce secretary. He withdrew his name from consideration because of an investigation of a campaign donor who had obtained state contracts while Richardson was Governor of New Mexico.
3. Timothy Geithner was appointed Treasury secretary even though he admitted he had not paid about $43,000 in taxes.
4. Nancy Killefer was nominated to be the first chief performance officer but withdrew her name from consideration also for tax reasons.
5. Kathleen Sebelius was appointed as head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Her tax problems provided yet one more example of the incompetence that characterized the Obama administration’s transition process. By disclosing that she was forced to pay over $7000 in back taxes after her nomination, Gov. Sebelius joined the ranks of Obama nominees who thought they were above paying taxes, a group that included her predecessor as nominee for HHS, Sen. Tom Daschle.
6. Ron Kirk was appointed US Trade representative. He had to pay $10,000 in back taxes that emerged during the "vetting" process.
7. Eric Holder was appointed Attorney General. There is too much to say about him here. He will be discussed in another Post.
8. Marilyn Katz was the head of security for the hard-core leftist group Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) who advocated guerrilla tactics during the Chicago Democratic Convention riots of 1968. She reportedly introduced Obama to the 'activist network' in Chicago. She met William Ayers (discussed later) through SDS and defended him after his association with Obama surfaced in the 2008 Presidential Campaign. She was part of Obama's campaign organization.

ACORN uses these fundamentals in order to harass, manipulate and ultimately extort money from powerful people and organizations. Their tactics come from Alinsky rule #13: identify, isolate, freeze and escalate. The blue print works like this. ACORN will identify an individual, usually a powerful head of a powerful organization. They will show up in front of that person's home with several hundred protesters. Since these powerful folks normally live in quiet and wealthy suburbs, such a commotion will soon be the talk of the neighborhood. The message for this person's friends and neighbors will be clear "they are a bad person". By doing so, they will have isolated this person from their friends and neighbors. Soon, not only will the target himself be a pariah but so will his children. That is the process of isolation. At this point, the target thinks that things can't get worse, and it is then that ACORN only raises the stakes. Not only will ACORN, and their protesters, show up everywhere the target frequents: the mall, the movie theater, the library, etc, but they will be there before the target even shows up. As such, before the target even arrives to their shopping, ACORN will show up with a crew of several hundred to protest them. All of this is done in order to beat the target into submission. For weeks and months, ACORN goes on a relentless campaign of harassment in which a powerful CEO can't seem to shake this group. Wherever they go, ACORN is there, and often they are there before the target.
Make no mistake, ACORN continues to look for any opportunity to apply Saul Alinsky rule #13 to put pressure and ultimately extort money from powerful individuals. The next time you read about an agreement between some business and ACORN to provide services to the underprivileged you should wonder if someone had their home picketed and if the rules of identify, isolate, freeze, and escalate were employed.

1. Tom Daschle was named to be Obama's Health and Human Services secretary. For three years prior to his nomination, he failed to pay more than $128,000 in taxes. This disclosure involved unreported income and the use of a car and driver provided to him. He was forced to withdraw.
2. Bill Richardson was Obama's pick for Commerce secretary. He withdrew his name from consideration because of an investigation of a campaign donor who had obtained state contracts while Richardson was Governor of New Mexico.
3. Timothy Geithner was appointed Treasury secretary even though he admitted he had not paid about $43,000 in taxes.
4. Nancy Killefer was nominated to be the first chief performance officer but withdrew her name from consideration also for tax reasons.
5. Kathleen Sebelius was appointed as head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Her tax problems provided yet one more example of the incompetence that characterized the Obama administration’s transition process. By disclosing that she was forced to pay over $7000 in back taxes after her nomination, Gov. Sebelius joined the ranks of Obama nominees who thought they were above paying taxes, a group that included her predecessor as nominee for HHS, Sen. Tom Daschle.
6. Ron Kirk was appointed US Trade representative. He had to pay $10,000 in back taxes that emerged during the "vetting" process.
7. Eric Holder was appointed Attorney General. There is too much to say about him here. He will be discussed in another Post.

Marilyn Katz was the head of security for the hard-core leftist group Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) who advocated guerrilla tactics during the Chicago Democratic Convention riots of 1968. 'Midwest describes itself as 'one of the nation's oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change.'... Eric Himpton Holder, Jr. (born January 21, 1951) is the 82nd and current Attorney General of the United States and the first African American to hold the position, serving under President Barack Obama.
Holder previously served as a judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and a United States Attorney. In that office he prosecuted Congressman Dan Rostenkowski (Democrat, Illinois) for corruption charges related to his role in the Congressional Post Office scandal. Later, he was Deputy Attorney General of the United States and worked at the law firm of Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. He was senior legal advisor to then-Senator Barack Obama during Obama's presidential campaign and one of three members of Obama's vice-presidential selection committee.
While he was deputy attorney general, he forwarded President Clinton's outrageous pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich. Clinton/Holder sidestepped all the pardoning procedures in this case. This should have sent a signal before his nomination, but it didn't.
Holder's former law firm (Covington & Burling) represents 17 Yemenis currently held at Gitmo.
Here is a chronological record of tenure so far:
1. The Obama administration/Department of Justice dropped the name "enemy combatant" for the detainees at Guantanamo and even suggested that they be tried in civilian, not military, courts.
2. The Department of Justice dropped a voter intimidation case against three New Black Panther members which occurred on election day 2008. One of the men was Minister King Samir Shabazz. Another protected Muslim?
3. Both the Department of Justice and the Obama administration were silent when US soldier William Long was killed and US soldier Quinton Ezeagwula was wounded by Muslim convert Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad on June 1, 2009. Another Obama cover up for a Muslim?
4. In November 2009, Holder announced that he wanted to try Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (KSM) and four others in a civilian courthouse in New York City just blocks from the scene of their 'alleged' crimes.
5. One year later (November 2010), Holder was still unsure as to where to try KSM and others. However, a New York federal jury in the same time period acquitted 'alleged' Al Qaeda accomplice Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani of all major terrorism charges in the suicide bombings of two US embassies in Africa (August 1998). Holder - this was a total miscarriage of justice!
6. The Department of Justice and Obama administration backtracked on where to try KSM and four others. On April 4, 2011 it was decided that they will be tried at Gitmo by a military court. Do you notice how "quickly" this administration works?
7. Now we come to Operation Fast and Furious. Holder has lied at least once when he first knew about the operation. He has not been very forthright in his involvement. Basically, this was an ATF countertrafficking operation which used tactics that allowed suspected smugglers to buy about 2,000 firearms. Many of these weapons have turned up missing. Two of these guns showed up at the site where Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed in December 2010. In a September 20, 2011, LA Times article, Marisela Morales (Mexico's Attorney General) said she had been unaware of this operation. To make matters worse, the Obama administration's cover-up continues to grow. The White House has sealed court records that contain details on Agent Terry's murder. Meanwhile, the investigation goes on!

Hank Johnson (D-GA), NRA tea party Republicans made up the whole Fast and Furious scandal. “I think this is another manufactured controversy by the second amendment, NRA Republican tea party movement", he told the Daily Caller. Johnson’s comments came during an interview with The Daily Caller outside the House Judiciary Committee hearing room. Attorney General Eric Holder was testifying before the committee about Fast and Furious. "Birds of a feather, flock together".

Homosexuality (Updated 12/25/2011)
There are many versions of The Bible (Catholic, New International Version, King James, etc.). I have read and studied the Bible many, many times. I have read the Bible cover to cover in the course of a year on a few occasions. I do not profess to be a theologian, but it does not take a rocket scientist to discover that the Bible frowns on homosexuality/perversion. We now have an expansion in the form of LGBT - lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.
LGBT History Month originated in the United States and was first celebrated in 1994. It was founded by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson. Among early supporters and members of the first coordinating committee were Kevin Jennings of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN); Kevin Boyer of Gerber/Hart Gay and Lesbian Library and Archives in Chicago; Paul Varnell, writer for the Windy City Times; Torey Wilson, Chicago area teacher; Johnda Boyce, women's studies major at Columbus State University and Jessea Greenman of UC-Berkeley. Many gay and lesbian organizations supported the concept early on. In 1995, the National Education Association indicated support of LGBT History Month as well as other history months by resolution at its General Assembly.
October was chosen by Wilson as the month for the celebration because National Coming Out Day already was established as a widely known event, on October 11, and October commemorated the first march on Washington by LGBT people in 1979. LGBT History Month is intended to encourage honesty and openness about being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.
On June 2, 2000, President Bill Clinton declared June 2000 "Gay & Lesbian Pride Month". President Barack Obama declared June 2009 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride Month 2009 on June 1, 2009.
I hope that you noticed liberal presidents foisted this "movement" on the American public. In February 2011, Obama decided not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) by executive decree. When he was questioned by Pastor Rick Warren at the Saddleback Church during the 2008 presidential election year, he stated that marriage is only between a man and a woman. Since he will not support DOMA, that says he would never support California's Proposition 22 (before his time) or Proposition 8 (ongoing debate on legality). Both are in favor of only heterosexual marriages.
"Don't ask, don't tell" (DADT) was the official United States policy on homosexuals serving in the military from December 21, 1993 to September 20, 2011. The policy prohibited military personnel from discriminating against or harassing closeted homosexual or bisexual service members or applicants, while barring openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual persons from military service.The policy prohibited people who "demonstrate a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts" from serving in the armed forces of the United States, because their presence "would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability". The "don't ask" part of the DADT policy specified that superiors should not initiate investigation of a service member's orientation without witnessing disallowed behaviors, though credible evidence of homosexual behavior could be used to initiate an investigation. Unauthorized investigations and harassment of suspected servicemen and women led to an expansion of the policy to "don't ask, don't tell, don't pursue, don't harass".
A congressional bill to repeal DADT was enacted in December 2010, specifying that the policy would remain in place until the President, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff certified that repeal would not harm military readiness, followed by a 60-day waiting period. A July 6, 2011 ruling from a federal appeals court barred further enforcement of the U.S. military's ban on openly gay service members. President Barack Obama, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, sent that certification to Congress on July 22, 2011, which set the end of DADT for September 20, 2011. Here in California, Gov Jerry Brown signed SB48 (July 2011) - the LGBT 'Role Models' bill. I always thought that a role model was someone you looked up to and tried to emulate. What is there to emulate when it comes to perversion? "Jerry Brown has trampled the parental rights of the broad majority of California mothers and fathers who don't want their children to be sexually brainwashed", said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, which helped lead the opposition to SB 48. "SB 48 has no parental opt-out. The only way parents can opt-out their kids from this immoral indoctrination is to opt them out the entire public school system, which is no longer for morally-sensitive parents and their children".
"It's ridiculous that Jerry Brown says he's making history 'honest'", Thomasson added. "The bill he signed prohibits teachers and textbooks from telling children the facts that homosexuality has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS and other STDs, higher cancer rates, and earlier deaths. Leviticus 18:22. "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable...." Same-sex sexual behavior is condemned.
Leviticus 20:13. "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must both be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads...." Again, same-sex sexual behavior is condemned.
Romans 1:26-27. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.... All homosexual behavior is unnatural.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolators nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders ... will inherit the kingdom of God. In closing this Post, I can find no supportive statement that speaks to the LGBT movement as being morally acceptable. One thing is sure it should never be forced into the minds of our school children, at any level!
LGBT History Month originated in the United States and was first celebrated in 1994. It was founded by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson. On June 2, 2000, President Bill Clinton declared June 2000 "Gay & Lesbian Pride Month". President Barack Obama declared June 2009 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride Month 2009 on June 1, 2009.
I hope that you noticed liberal presidents foisted this "movement" on the American public. In February 2011, Obama decided not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) by executive decree. When he was questioned by Pastor Rick Warren at the Saddleback Church during the 2008 presidential election year, he stated that marriage is only between a man and a woman. Since he will not support DOMA, that says he would never support California's Proposition 22 (before his time) or Proposition 8 (ongoing debate on legality). Both are in favor of only heterosexual marriages.
"Don't ask, don't tell" (DADT) was the official United States policy on homosexuals serving in the military from December 21, 1993 to September 20, 2011. The policy prohibited military personnel from discriminating against or harassing closeted homosexual or bisexual service members or applicants, while barring openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual persons from military service.The policy prohibited people who "demonstrate a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts" from serving in the armed forces of the United States, because their presence "would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability". The "don't ask" part of the DADT policy specified that superiors should not initiate investigation of a service member's orientation without witnessing disallowed behaviors, though credible evidence of homosexual behavior could be used to initiate an investigation. Unauthorized investigations and harassment of suspected servicemen and women led to an expansion of the policy to "don't ask, don't tell, don't pursue, don't harass".
A congressional bill to repeal DADT was enacted in December 2010, specifying that the policy would remain in place until the President, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff certified that repeal would not harm military readiness, followed by a 60-day waiting period. A July 6, 2011 ruling from a federal appeals court barred further enforcement of the U.S. military's ban on openly gay service members.
